6 MB PDFI trawled Whitstable Beach in January of 2023, looking for the broken, the faded and the ignored.
The shells, seaweed, driftwood and rusted objects I collected are photographed exactly as they were found (albeit with some of the sand blown off) - there are no digital effects involved - but each item is nevertheless elevated into a sculptural and slightly surreal object that seems to have a personality and an authentic, personal story to tell (as we all do). I hope those stories gives you food for thought.
